Hope Ministry Center
Most of you know that I spent some time in India at an orphanage in Manipur in the NE corner of the country. Through a series of events the Lord has brought me to serve the children in this area in a different capacity. While I still sponsor Ting and adore the Gilgal children's home; there are over 500 hundred other street children in Manipur that have no place to call home and have no formal education. Not coincidentally, I came across a fledgling ministry that is attempting to help several children in this area. Right now, the man who started this ministry has ten children that he has taken off the street and he has NO support. NONE of the children have sponsors as of yet. Long story short- He is trusting that the Lord will provide for these ten children. His contact has asked me to help in any way I can, and this is my first attempt.
These are just some of the sweet children that are in need of sponsorship. They are living in a small concrete structure with no real walls and being cared for by a full time "warden" and they are being taught God's word by Dan's (the one who has taken them in) mom. They were able to attend school this year. A full report on each child is available.
The odds of traveling to this area of the world and actually getting to meet the child you sponsor are very high. It is also highly likely that these children may travel to the US someday to sing with the Children of the World.
