America! God shed His grace on thee...

Yesterday I was driving past the MCAS (Marine Corps Air Station) and the huge sign at the front posted "Pardon our noise...it's the sound of freedom". As I finished my drive I whispered a prayer for our mighty nation, its leaders and the men and women of this country who give their blood, sweat, tears and often their lives, so we can move about freely in this land that was born so many years ago out of the overflowing blessings of our God! Tomorrow, make a special effort to thank God and possibly someone else who put their life on the line, for this amazing blanket of freedom that we enjoy. Remember all that we stand for: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance" Psalm 33:12

God bless America, land that I love.
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home.
